Thanks to their simple build, Royal Enfields are popular motorcycles in the custom world, and we have covered plenty of custom Royal Enfields from around the world. However, RE customization is on a different level in its home turf, India, and TNT Motorcycles' fresh-out-of-the-oven custom Royal Enfield Bullet backs this claim flawlessly. Based on the gone-but-missed Royal Enfield Electra 350, this is easily one of the craziest custom Bullets we’ve seen for a while.
Custom Royal Enfield Bullet ‘Goonj’ By TNT Motorcycles
Dubbed ‘Goonj’ by its makers (meaning echo), the motorcycle has tons of trick parts built in-house by the talented folks at TNT. The bodywork, in particular, is a prime specimen as most of it is handcrafted (more like hand beaten) out of stainless steel and aluminum. Now, handcrafted bodywork is common in the custom world, but the faultless finish on the aluminum half fairing, belly pan, and the sweeping tail makes this a notch above the rest.
Speaking of stellar, the motorcycle bids adieu to its telescopic forks and switches to a one-off girder fork, carved from stainless steel. The classic girder pairs up with a handcrafted handlebar replete with steel grips, levers, and even a steel front master cylinder. Meanwhile, the front brakes comprise twin Nissin calipers and steel-covered discs fitted to an up-sized spoke wheel that wears chunky Timsun rubber.
What about performance, you ask? Well, that wasn’t exactly a priority here. Yet, TNT has refreshed the 346cc mill and topped it off with a custom stainless steel exhaust. The exhaust also features gorgeous brass accents at the end that add much-needed contrast to the otherwise chrome appeal. Similarly, you’ll also appreciate tobacco Napa leather upholstery, golden/brass accents on the engine, and copper cables. Finally, the extreme attention to detail - like the hidden cables inside the handlebar and the exposed chassis above the tank - brings everything together.
Can You Buy This Custom Royal Enfield Bullet?
Sadly, this is a personal project and TNT Motorcycles plans to keep it in the family. You see, the donor Bullet was TNT Motorcycles founder's personal steed for a long time before he suffered a crash that injured him and the motorcycle. Even after that, he had no plans to sell the Bullet and when the pandemic hit. He reminisced about the times with it, and ultimately decided to transform it into the exquisite ‘Goonj’. With such a history, it’s no surprise he wants to keep the motorcycle close to him, and we respect that, even though it’s a bummer we might never see it in the flesh.
