There are two engine options for the 2023 Toyota GR Supra. One is a 2.0-liter, inline four-cylinder with a twin-scroll turbocharger that gets 255 horsepower at 5,000-6,500 rpm. The other option is a 3.0-liter, inline six-cylinder with a twin-scroll turbocharger that gets 382 horsepower at 5,800-6,500 rpm. The four-cylinder comes with an eight-speed automatic transmission. The six-cylinder gets either a six-speed manual or an eight-speed automatic. Either option is enough to satisfy most gearheads' need for speed.

2023 Chevrolet Corvette Z06

Coming in as one of the most expensive cars on this list is the 2023 Mercedes AMG-SL. Starting at $140k, you get two options when it comes to power. You'll get a twin-turbo 4.0-liter V-8 beast that can come with either 469 horsepower in the SL55 model or 577 horsepower in the SL63. Those extra horses will cost you an extra $40k, though. But that extra $40k will get you the opportunity to go from 0 to 60 in just 3.0 seconds. We'd say that an extra $40k is definitely worth it to be able to go that fast. Unfortunately, though, no manual option is available for the transmission.

2023 Mazda MX-5 Miata

Ah yes, back down to the more affordable sports cars. Enter the 2023 Mazda MX-5 Miata. Starting at just $28k, the 2023 MX-5 comes equipped with a 181 horsepower, SKYACTIV-G 2.0 DOHC 16-valve 4-cylinder engine with VVT. There are 3 models of this car, the Sport, Club, and Grand Touring. All three models can have a standard six-speed manual transmission, while the Grand Touring is the only one offered with an automatic. And while it's cheaper than most cars on this list, you can still go from 0 to 60 in 6 to 6.4 seconds. Not bad for the price at all.

2024 Nissan GT-R

The 2024 Nissan GT-R is one of the coolest-looking cars on this list. Expected to be released in the summer of this year, the 2023 GT-R comes equipped with a twin-turbocharged 3.8-liter V-6 engine that gets 565 horsepower for its premium and T-spec models, while the Nismo variation fits 600 horsepower under its hood. The premium model starts at around $115k, while the Nismo version is almost double the price of the premium at around $212k. We think the latter is a bit pricey, but you have to pay a lot to get all those horses.

Coming in hot on the last spot on our list is the 2023 Lexus LC convertible. With its sleek design and meticulous craftsmanship, this convertible packs a punch with its 5.0-liter V-8 that has 398 pound-feet of torque alongside 471 horsepower. Now this car is beautiful, but what would make it even more beautiful is if it had a manual option. It does come with a 10-speed automatic transmission that is super quick shifting and extremely smooth.
