Let's kick things off with the mighty C8 Corvette. One car which has become highly anticipated since the official announcement, back in 2022, is the new 2024 electrified Vairant. The Corvette E-Ray is powered by a hybrid drive train, which consists of a 6.2-Liter LT2 V-8 engine from the Stingray and an electric drive unit for the front wheels.

This means the new E-Ray puts out an impressive combined 655 horsepower and comes with AWD for all-season driving. This Corvette goes from 0-60 in 2.5 seconds as per the automaker and does the quarter mile in 10.5 seconds. The wait is almost over, with the Corvette stated to hit dealerships in the later part of 2023 or early 2024.

Trucks, Trucks, And More Trucks

There is a lot of buzz being created around the all-electric Silverado EV, which is set to go head-to-head with the successful Ford F-150 Lightning. The first-ever Silverado EV comes with a 400-mile range on a full charge and will be powered by two electric motors for a combined output of up to 754 horsepower with 785 pound-feet of torque.

This EV truck has been developed from the ground up on Chevrolet’s proprietary Ultium platform and shares its powertrain with the extremely cool GMC Hummer EV. This truck is set to be released as a 2024 model, with bookings open now for late 2023 deliveries.

At the other end of the spectrum is the new 2024 Silverado Heavy Duty truck, which gets an updated front-end design and interiors. If you are not a fan of the chrome grille, there is also a High Country Midnight Edition, which comes with a blacked-out grille.

The 2024 model will be sold besides the 2023 model for the time being, which can still be bought brand new. The Silverado still retains the gasoline 6.6-Liter V-8 with 401 horsepower and 464 pound-feet of torque and the Duramax diesel that packs 470 horsepower with 975 pound-feet of torque.

Chevrolet has always produced some of the best models of trucks in America, this year it will be no different. The Silverado ZR2 Bison is an off-road performance-oriented truck that was developed in collaboration with American Expedition Vehicles to make it more capable.

This version of Chevrolet’s flagship truck is reinforced with under-body skid plates, rocker panel protection, and redesigned stamped steel fenders - front and rear. This collaboration also introduced new 18-inch wheels wrapped in 33-inch Goodyear Wrangler M/T tires. The Bison is also accented with a grille bar with body color, a matte black tailgate, and AEV badges. The engine will be a 6.2-Liter V-8 producing 420 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque.

There is also a new version of the Chevrolet Colorado, which is in its third generation. The new mid-sized truck offering has been redesigned and comes with a new front end and side profile. The Colorado come in five trims - LT, WT, Trail Boss, Z71, and ZR2. All five trims share a 2.7-Liter Turbo Plus engine, which produces 310 horsepower and 391 pound-feet of torque, paired to an eight-speed automatic.

No Shortage Of Gas-Powered Models

There is also a new Chevrolet Tahoe with an RST Performance trim debuting this year as well. The full-size SUV has been updated with a chassis, suspension, and tires derived from Police Pursuit Vehicles. The RST Performance also has large bright red brake calipers for added stopping power and an anti-roll bar for additional stability at high speeds.

The suspension has been lowered by 10 mm in the front and 20 mm in the rear. This version of the Tahoe has the same 6.6-Liter V-8 engine paired to a 10-speed automatic, however, it has been augmented with a cold air intake system and low restriction exhaust, which boosts the horsepower numbers by 13 horsepower to 433 and 467 pound-feet of torque.

Chevy is also revamping the Trax, with the all-new 2024 model not only coming in as the brand's most affordable SUV, but also one of the best looking. The base model starts at just $20,400; making it one of the most affordable sub-compact SUVs out there.

But don't let the bargain basement price fool you as the base model too comes well equipped with a lot of standard kit like wireless Apple Carplay and Android Auto compatibility and a host of safety features like automatic emergency braking, an HD rear view camera and six airbags.

Under the hood, you've got an 1.2-liter inline three-cylinder that offers between 137 and 155 horsepower. All models are paired to a six-speed auto. The only thing really missing is an optional all-wheel drive system, which some rivals in the segment offer.

Another offering rumored to be released in the U.S. is the Chevrolet Seeker. Originally, the Seeker was first introduced in China, with no word of a release in the U.S. Chevrolet is poised to release this as an option between the Blazer and Equinox SUV. The Seeker will be gas-powered with a 1.5-Liter gas-powered Turbo Ecotec engine with an output of around 170 horses, mated to a CVT transmission.

The SUV carries the modern design language favored by Chevrolet with a split grill and V-shaped headlights, with the front end reminiscent of the 2023 Trailblazer. The Seeker will come in 5 different variants - with an option of a sporty RS version with Camaro-inspired hood stripes.

Chevrolet is also stepping up with compact and mid-size eSUV offerings in the form of the Chevrolet Equinox Crossover EV and Blazer EV. The Equinox EV, which was until this year a compact gas-powered SUV, has undergone a design change and reintroduced in an EV avatar. The design is a futuristic update over the gas-powered model and is not restricted only to the exterior.

The interior has also been completely revamped with comfort and all manner of practical technology. While being priced more than the Bolt EV with a starting price of $30,000, the latter is incidentally the least expensive EV in the market, the Equinox EV is quicker with the base variant outputting 210 horsepower.

The Blazer is back, yet again in a new EV flavor this time. The mid-size eSUV is stated to be released in the summer of 2023 and will come in several variants. There is the practical 1 LT, 2LT, RS, and even a performance-oriented SS model which is officially claimed to reach 0-60 in under 4 seconds with 557 Horsepower. This puts it in direct competition with the Mustang Mach-E GT and the Hyundai IONIQ 5. The base model 1LT will be priced at $44,995 going all the way up to 65,995 for the SS trim.
